Flexible Tuning and Superior Vibration Control
Yamauchi offers vibration-resistant dampers and insulators with precise control over rubber hardness, allowing for fine-tuning in 5 degree steps from 3 to 60 (A). This flexibility enables optimal resonance tuning, even after mold production.
Wide Dynamic Viscoelasticity Range for Enhanced Audio Performance
Our materials feature a dynamic viscoelasticity range (tan δ) from 0.1 to 0.8, effectively suppressing vibration across a broad frequency range for superior audio quality.
High Reliability and Environmental Compliance
Thermoset rubber provides excellent compression strain characteristics and weather resistance, ensuring no ozone cracking at 40°C/50 pphm for 72 hours. Additionally, our products are RoHS-compliant, offering environmentally friendly solutions.

Shifting the Resonance Point
Resonance at specific frequency ranges can be effectively avoided by adjusting the hardness of rubber. As showcased in Figure 1, this graph highlights that lowering the hardness of rubber shifts the resonance point downward. Yamauchi applies advanced expertise and fine-tuned hardness control in 5 degree increments across a wide A3 to A60 range, enabling flexible, precision tuning to match your performance needs.
The Reduction in Vibration Transmission
Resonance can be suppressed by changing the rubber’s dynamic viscoelasticity. Figure 2 showcases that using a rubber compound with a higher tan δ (greater energy loss and lower elasticity), helps lower resonance magnification. Yamauchi can meet your diverse needs by offering materials graded across a wide tan δ range from 0.1 to 0.8.
